Learning at The Village

Daily Spanish

Daily Spanish instruction is planned for every student, every day — beginning in kindergarten.

Language learning

Age-appropriate, consistent, and joyful

Young children are natural language learners. Our planned Spanish program would use songs, stories, conversation, games, and movement to build listening, speaking, and early reading skills a little every day.

As students move up — and as the school grows one grade each year toward eighth grade — Spanish learning can deepen with them.

Cultural understanding

A window to the wider world

Spanish connects children to hundreds of millions of speakers across the Americas, Spain, and right here in Atlanta. Alongside language, students would explore music, art, food, traditions, and stories from Spanish-speaking communities.

The Village School is not planned as a dual-language immersion program, and we do not promise fluency. Our goal is meaningful, consistent exposure and growing confidence.
